If you work downtown, Lakeview is one of Calgary's best kept secrets in terms of commute time to the core. Except for a few community traffic lights in Lakeview and over Glenmore Trail, the drive to downtown is now without traffic lights as the new overpass on 50th Avenue S.W. is now open. Lakeview's schools are excellent and include both Public and Catholic schools. Mount Royal College lies just across Glenmore Trail and The University of Calgary is also an easy drive North on Crowchild Trail.
